Welcome to the Missoula Current's guide to the 2019 Missoula City Council elections. Six council seats are up for grabs, representing half of the council. New faces are certain, as three incumbent council members opted not to run for reelection.

The voting begins with a Sept. 10 primary election in Wards 1, 3 and 4. Each of those wards has three candidates vying for the seat; they'll be narrowed to two for November's general election.

Missoula Current asked all 15 candidates a series of questions based on issues facing city leaders in the years ahead. Their answers are reprinted verbatim.

Here is the link to the full voter's guide and all the candidate Q&As.
