Job Service Missoula hit the threshold of 1,000 open jobs in Missoula last week. This is before hiring begins in earnest for the summer season.

What a great time for people who are looking for a new job, a first job or a seasonal job!

To help introduce those job seekers to businesses who are hiring, the Job Service is hosting its annual career fair on Tuesday, April 17, at the Hilton Garden Inn.

With the support of local business sponsors, including title sponsor Allegiance Benefit Plan Management, Job Service organizes the event for about 100 employers and training providers. They will hire for all kinds of jobs – construction, customer service, labor, administrative, technology, banking, and health care are among the positions available.

The career fair has a tradition of allowing veterans into the career fair at 2:30 p.m. – a half hour before the general public is admitted at 3 p.m. The even continues until 6 p.m. in ballroom of the hotel.

There is no admission charge for people who are looking for jobs. Job Service invites you to dress for success, bring your resume and an open mind, and see what opportunities away you at the job fair!
