More than 40 skaters will celebrate the Missoula Figuring Skating Club's 20th anniversary this Saturday, performing 25 different routines as part of the annual Showcase on Ice.

Dubbed “20 Years of Magic,” the skaters will perform to a number of musical favorites, from Disney and Broadway show tunes to Radiohead and U2.

“This year’s show is our 20th anniversary show,” said Jilayne Dunn, a member of the club. “Skaters will be skating to music from shows from over the past 20 years. Our Showcase on Ice features group numbers and solos skated by our club members, as well as members of our Learn to Skate program.”

Saturday's event also includes a silent auction with prizes from several Missoula restaurants. A trip will also be raffled off during the event.

Dunn said guest skaters include Alex Johnson, who began skating at the age of 4. He finished 6th at the 2017 U.S. Figure Skating Championships.

Guest skaters also include Chris Borton with the Bozeman Figure Skating Club. Borton is a two-time adult national gold medalist.

The show kicks off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, at the Glacier Ice Rink. Tickets are $13 for adults and $5 for kids. A family pack of 4 is offered for $20.
